It’s been five years since Laura and Carmilla vanquished the apocalypse and Carmilla became a bonafide mortal human. They have settled in to a cozy apartment in downtown Toronto; Laura continues to hone her journalism skills while Carmilla adjusts to a non-vampire lifestyle. Their domestic bliss is suddenly ruptured when Carmilla begins to show signs of “re-vamping”–from a fondness for bloody treats to accidental biting–while Laura has started having bizarre, ghostly dreams. Enlisting their old friends from Silas University, the couple must now uncover the unknown supernatural threat that’s tied to Carmilla’s past in The Carmilla Movie.

Revisiting his unique blend of hardboiled crime thriller and brutal, bloody horror comedy, Michaels’ “Valentine DayZ” takes his characters on a journey from the champagne and yacht lifestyles of the rich and corrupt, to doom and despair in Death Valley as the zombie apocalypse threatens everything they hold dear. Dallas Valdez (“The Fiancé”) and Carrie Keagan (“Sharknado 4”) are the leads. Rounding out the cast are Robert Allen Allen Mukes (“Westworld” TV series), Diane Ayala Goldner (“The Collector”), and Curt Lambert (“The Hotel Barclay” TV series).

In an effort to salvage his relationship, a well-meaning control freak drags his girlfriend to a romantic cabin in the woods. Hilarity ensues when a ravenous bear, an affable forest ranger, and a crazy woodsman repeatedly interrupt his elaborate attempts at a marriage proposal. As his plans go up in flames, he must learn that some relationships aren’t worth saving or face being eaten alive by his own insecurities…and also by a bear.
