Sparks comedy career started in swashbuckling dive bars along the Yangtze River in Suzhou, China in 2009. It was there where he co-founded Kung Fu Komedy, mainland China’s first full-time comedy club.

In 2016 Sparks returned the United States and has been quickly rising up the ranks of New York City’s comedy scene since then. His debut stand-up comedy album “Turner Sparks Live From The Friars Club”, released on Larry The Cable Guy’s Git R Done Records/ Comedy Dynamics, went to #2 in America on the Itunes Comedy Top 200 charts upon its release in 2019.

Sparks’ live show is a mix of high energy stories from his life in China, cutting observations on his intercultural marriage and thoughts on the latest Sacramento Kings game.
