COMEDY DYNAMICS TO RELEASE AWARD-WINNING COMEDY FEATURE GRASS ON AUGUST 29, 2017

“Unmissable… hilarious… Broad City-esque”

SF Weekly

Comedy Dynamics announced today it will release Sundance alum Tanuj Chopra’s award-winning comedy feature Grass on August 29, 2017 on major transactional services.

Emily C. Chang (The Vampire Diaries, The Bold Type) and Pia Shah (Grey’s Anatomy, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) star in this non-traditional, experimental stoner comedy about two women tasked with delivering a backpack full of marijuana. Instead, they find themselves stranded in a park where they spend the day contemplating love, life and pizza. The film was written and directed by Tanuj Chopra (Punching at the Sun, Chee and T) and executive produced by Alex Rubens (Key and Peele, Rick and Morty, Keanu.)

Grass won the Austin Asian American Film Festival Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature as well as the Los Angeles Asian American Film Festival Jury Prize for Editing. It has been screened at The San Francisco Asian American Film Festival, The Los Angeles Asian American Film Festival, CAAMFest and more.

“I can’t wait for audiences to see this film and I hope they like it as much as I do!”

said Brian Volk-Weiss, CEO of The Nacelle Company.

“I’m excited audiences get to see these monster performances by such talented ladies. I recommend you eat some gummies, smoke a blunt, kick back and push play.”

said Tanuj Chopra.
